Our Production
The core of our work lays in the collaborations with one of the lead Latvian manufacturers of CLT modular houses. Their portfolio includes both commercial and residential modular homes using Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) panels. This type of craft makes the houses livable all-year-around.
* CLT is a large-scale, prefabricated, solid-engineered wood panel. Lightweight yet very strong, with superior acoustic, fire, seismic and thermal performance, CLT is also fast and easy to install, generating almost no waste onsite.
Materials
The exterior and interior of the houses are modern and minimalistic, with an organic blend of mostly wood, glass, and metal. For the finishing touches, there are two classic ways to do the façade, a combination of thermo wood and steal, or fully covered in thermo wood*. All the material are selected with the aim of minimal impact on the environment.
*Thermal modification is a non-toxic treatment process that is used to improve wood’s material properties, including its dimensional stability and biological resistance. Only heat and steam are used for this process, no chemicals.
Design
Contemporary designed, spacious and fully equipped ensuite bathrooms for maximum relaxation. Natural light is crucial in our philosophy, so all houses have plenty of sun and light. The interior can be personalized according to one’s needs and desires. All kitchens are stylish and functional. For heating, we use an underfloor Infrared solution.
